Eva C. (Age 56) - Knee Pain

I had a severe Knee issue and first went to see an Orthopedic Specialist about it.”  I had severe pain left and right of the knee and in the bend of my knee which caused me to limp, forced me to take stairs one step at a time and was not able to walk normally, or even for any length of time. It limited my activities in all areas of my life.

The specialist examined my knee, took no x-rays and told me that at my age of 56, and with the problems I was having , I should consider a “knee replacement.”  I was shocked by the conclusion he drew after seeing me for just 15 minutes. I left, went home, discussed this with family members and decided to have a Chiropractor take a look at my knee.

This was the “best” decision I could have made.  Dr. Turner examined my knee, proceeded with x-rays and we found there was absolutely no need for a knee replacement. One thing he found right away was that my tibia bone below my knee was out of place. He was able to make the adjustment that day and I felt immediate relief. I was even able to leave his office without limping.  After a few months of treatment (including laser therapy), I am now able to walk normally again and even use stairs. I continue to have frequent checkups and adjustments, as needed.

Chiropractic treatment is becoming increasingly more known to the public as a medical service that does work.  I advise everyone with any type of pain issues within the body to seek Chiropractic help “BEFORE” considering any type of surgery recommended to them.
